ÖZET Ahmed Kuşâşî, 991/1583 yılında Medine'de dünyaya gelmiş ve ilk eğitimini babasından almıştır. Yemen ve Hicaz bölgesindeki ulemadan istifade etmiş daha sonra zahirî ve manevî anlamdaki hocası Ahmed b. Ali eş-Şinnâvî ile tanışmıştır. Şinnâvî'nin eliyle birçok tarikattan icazet almış ve şeyhinin vefatından sonra ilim ve irşad faaliyetlerine başlamıştır. Bir taraftan halife ve mürîd yetiştirmiş, diğer taraftan Tasavvuf başta olmak üzere Kelam, Fıkıh, Hadîs ve Tefsîr alanlarında ellinden fazla eser telif etmiştir. Eser ve halifeleriyle birçok bölgede etkili olmuştur. Haremeyn bölgesi başta olmak üzere Afrika kıtası, Akdeniz bölgesi ve Güneydoğu Asya ülkelerindeki Müslümanlar Kuşâşî'nin ilminden ve irşadından faydalanmıştır. Orta Asya'da Nakşibendiyye, Güneydoğu Asya'da ise Şettâriyye veya Kuşâşiyye şeyhi olarak anılmıştır. İrfânî ve fikrî boyutta İbnü'l-'Arabî'nin önemli bir takipçisi olmuş, şeriât ve tasavvuf eksenli bir düşünce sergilemiştir. Âlim, mürşîd ve önder kişiliğiyle kendisinden sonraki dönemde de önemli bir etki alanı olmuştur. Safiyyüddîn Ahmed Kuşâşî bu yönleriyle tasavvuf tarihine iz bırakmış önemli bir şahsiyettir. Bu çalışmamızda, X/XVI. yüzyılda yaşamış, yazdığı eserleri, tasavvufî anlayışı, yetiştirdiği talebe ve halifeleriyle adından söz ettirmiş Safiyyüddîn Ahmed el-Kuşâşî'nin hayatını, eserlerini ve tasavvufi görüşlerini ortaya koyup ilim dünyasına tanıtmaya yönelik olacaktır.

ABSTRACT Ahmad al-Qushashi was born in Medinah in 991/1583 and has acquired his first education from his father. He has utilized the science of ulamas' in the Hejaz and Yemen and after that he has met his spiritual and virtual teacher Ahmad b. Ali es-Shinnâvî. Thanks to Shinnâvî, he has got dispensation from several tariqas and after the death of his sheikh, he has started the activities of science and guidance (which means to show the right path and tell the rules in Islam). In addition to educate successors and disciples, he has written more than fifty manuscripts in primaly sufism and also other areas i.e kalam, fiqh, hadith and tafsir. By means of his successors and manuscripts, he has been a significant figure in several regions. Primarily Haremeyn region, the Muslims located in African continent, Mediterranean region and southeastern Asia countries have utilized from Qushashi's knowledge regarding sufism and insight. He has been known as the sheikh of Nakhshibendi in the Middle East, sheikh of Shettariyye or Qushashiyye in the Southeastern Asia. In insight and opinion terms, he has been a significant follower of Ibn Arabî and stated sharia and sufism based concepts. Over the scholar and mentor based personality, he has been an effective figure even after his death. With these characteristics, Ahmad al-Qushashi is an important scholar leaving a mark in sufism history. In this study, we will introduce him by stating the life, publishments and sufism persepective of Safi al-Din Ahmad al-Qushashi who lived in 10th/16th century and made his mark on sufism thanks to his manuscripts, sufism thoughts, disciples and successors he has educated.
