ÖZET Rüyalar eski zamanlardan beri insanların ilgisini çekmiştir. İlham kaynağı olması, gelecekten haber vermesi, insanın bilinçaltını yansıtması bakımından zihinleri meşgul etmiştir. Pek çok bilim insanı, düşünür ve sanatçı rüyaları farklı yönlerden ele almış, onlara yeni anlamlar yüklemiştir. Merkezine insanı alan edebiyatta da rüyalara yer verilmiş ve bu vesileyle rüyalar edebi türlerin beslendiği kaynaklardan biri olmayı başarmıştır. Rüya olgusu, hem dünya edebiyatında hem de Türk edebiyatında pek çok şair ve yazarın eserlerinde gerek doğrudan gerekse yansımalar halinde bulunmuştur. Edebiyatçıların ilgi odağında olan rüyalar, yazar Hakan Bıçakcı‟nın da ilgisini çekmiştir. Bıçakcı, rüyaları insanların karanlık yönlerini açığa çıkaran dışavurumlar olarak görmüş ve eserlerinde rüya kavramını sıklıkla işlemiştir. Ayrıca romanlarında rüyaları kullanarak çok katmanlı bir yapı oluşturmuştur. Buna istinaden yazarın romanlarında rüya kavramının tematik ve yapısal işlevi üzerinde durulmuş, yazarın sekiz romanı rüya merkezli olarak incelenmiştir. Tematik ve yapısal işlevlere geçmeden önce ise rüyanın anlam ve öneminin üzerinde durulmuş, Türk ve dünya edebiyatındaki yerine dikkat çekilmiştir. Bu çalışma sonucunda Bıçakcı‟nın romanlarının, rüya çerçevesinde ele alınarak incelenebilecek nitelikte olduğu görülmüştür. Günümüz insanının içsel meselelerini, kendine ve çevresine yabancılaşmasını, yalnızlığını anlatan yazar, kişinin ruhsal durumlarını romanlarına taşımış, onun daha iyi anlaşılmasını sağlamıştır. Bunu özellikle rüyalar aracılığıyla yapan yazar, böylelikle insan davranışlarının altında yatan sebeplerin bilinçaltına dayandığını da okuyucuya göstermiş olur.

ABSTRACT Dreams have fascinated people since ancient times. It has occupied the minds in terms of being a source of inspiration, foretelling the future, and reflecting the subconscious of people. Many scientists, thinkers and artists have dealt with dreams from different aspects and attributed new meanings to them. Dreams are also included in the literature that puts the human being at its center, and on this occasion dreams have become one of the sources that feed the literary genres. The phenomenon of dreams has been found both directly and as reflections in the works of many poets and writers in both world literature and Turkish literature. Dreams, which are in the centre of attention of writers, also attracted the attention of writer Hakan Bıçakcı. Bıçakcı saw dreams as expressions revealing the dark aspects of people and frequently used the concept of dreams in his works. He also created a multilayered structure by using dreams in his novels. Based on this, the thematic and structural function of the concept of dream in the author‟s novels was emphasized, and eight of the author‟s novels were examined as dream-centered. Before moving on to the thematic and structural functions, the meaning and importance of the dream was emphasized and attention was drawn to its place in Turkish and world literauture. As a result of this study, it has been seen that Bıçakcı‟s novels can be examined within the framework of dreams, The author, who tells about to inner issues of today‟s people, his alienation from himself and his invironment, and his loneliness, has thus the carried the mental states of the person to his novels and made him better understood. The author, who does this especially through dreams, shrows the reader that the underlying causes of human behavior are based on the subconscious.
