ÖZET Tunus'tan başlayarak Mısır, Yemen, Libya ve Suriye gibi ülkelerde vuku bulan Arap Baharı Hareketi 21. yüzyılın en önemli ve öne çıkan olaylarından biri olarak kabul ediliyor. Bu hareket, birçok Arap ülkesinde ortaya çıktıktan sonra iç ve dış göçlere yol açmıştır. Dolaysıyla bu trajedi sonucunda "Göç edebiyatı veya Modern göç edebiyatı" adı altında yeni bir edebiyat türü başladı. Ancak yazarlar bu hususta görüş farklılığı göstererek bir kısmı bunu göç edebiyatının bir parçası olarak sayarken diğer bir kısmı bunu göç edebiyatından farklı yeni bir edebi tür olarak görmüştür. Böylece kaleme alınan bu eserlerin göç edebiyatı ve özellikle Suriye göç edebiyatı olan yeni bir edebi türün ortaya çıkmasına neden olduğunu görüyoruz. Suriyeli yazar Mahmut Hasan el-Câsım'ın "Nuzühu Meryem" adlı romanı, bu edebiyatın en önemli eserlerinden biri olarak kabul edilir. Bununla beraber yazar, belli bir siyasi tarafı tutmadan Suriye halkının çekmiş oldukları acı ve zorlukları romanında dile getirmiştir. Ayrıca ele aldığı bazı siyası olaylarda, siyasi gruplardan açıkça bahsetmek yerine okuyucunun anlamasını sağlayacak bazı tüyolar vermiştir. Böylelikle yazarın tek amacı, Suriye halkının rejim tarafından maruz kaldıkları zulüm ve tutuklanma gibi konular başta olmak üzere iç ve dış göç, aile fertleri arasında çıkan siyasi kavgalar, aşk, dini ve sosyal farklılıkları gibi birçok konuyu ele almak ve okuyuculara aktarmaktı. Dolaysıyla "Nuzühu Meryem" Suriye halkının her gün yaşamış olduğu acı ve ıstırabı anlatan bir roman olmuştur. Bu çalışmanın giriş bölümünde, araştırmanın önemi, konunun seçilme nedenleri, yöntemi ve araştırma planına yer verilmiş olup araştırmanın birinci bölümünde göç kavramına ve buna neden olan en belirgin faktörler ve onunla ilişkili en belirgin kavramların açıklanması yer almaktadır. Çalışmanın ikinci bölümünde genel anlamda göç edebiyatı ve Suriye göç edebiyatı ele alınmıştır. Üçüncü son bölümünde ise "Nuzühu Meryem" adlı romanında ki göç, romanda ele alınan göç türleri, roman estetikleri ve bu tür eserlerin ortaya çıkmasına neden olan Suriye krizinden kısaca bahsedilmektedir.

ABSTRACT The Arab Spring movement, which erupted from Tunisia and then crossed Egypt, Yemen, Libya and Syria, is one of the most important and prominent events of the Twenty-First Century. After its occurrence in most Arab countries, this movement led to waves of internal and external displacement. As a result of this tragedy, a modern wave of writing began under the name "asylum literature or modern Diaspora literature". The authors differed in this matter between those who considered these works and works as part of the literature of the diaspora and those who considered it a genre and a literary division different from the literature of the diaspora. Thus, we see that these writings led to the emergence of a new literary division, namely the literature of asylum and in particular the literature of the Syrian asylum. The story of the exodus of Maryam by the Syrian writer Mahmoud Hassan Al-Jassim is one of the most prominent and important works of this literature, where the writer was able through this novel, to convey the suffering of his people in a neutral way without taking sides or a specific political body, as he was as far away as possible talking about political groups and parties, only giving some signals that make the reader understand the current events and how they happen. His sole aim was to convey the suffering of his people by addressing various topics such as displacement, asylum, political differences that arose between family members at the beginning of the events, and other topics such as arrests and persecution of the Syrian people. The "exodus of Mary" becomes a narrative of the daily sufferings of the Syrian people. In the study, the introduction included the importance of research and the reasons for choosing the topic, its methodology and the research plan, and singled out the first chapter of the research for the concept of migration and the most prominent factors leading to it with an explanation of the most important concepts associated with it, and then held the second chapter for the literature of the diaspora and Syrian refugee literature. In the third and final chapter of the research, she dealt with the topic of migration in the novel The exodus of Mary, while dealing with the life of the writer, mentioning the types of migration contained in the novel and the aesthetics of the novel, and mentioning a brief summary of the Syrian crisis, which was the cause of the birth of these works. In conclusion, I set out the most prominent findings of this research.
